McDonalds hosted LISD McTeacher Night at various locations this week to benefit LISD schools. Daiches Elementary School administration, staff, students, and their families came out to McDonalds on Saunders during the schools McTeacher Night Fundraiser. Staff participated by helping sell cookies to help raise funds for their schools.
LISD is #SantiagoStrong! Christen Middle School united to honor Santiago Cardenas, a brave 7th grader whose strength continues to inspire us all. 🎗️
During this special celebration, Santiago was named Honorary Law Enforcement Officer and Congressman for the Day, a tribute to his unwavering courage and resilience.

The Greatest Reading Show at Macdonell Elementary! Under the big top of imagination, families gathered for a spectacular Family Reading Night filled with storytelling magic! The spotlight shined on celebrity guest reader, Joe Ojeda, keyboard player for Selena y Los Dinos, as he took center stage to read to our students!
The night was even more spectacular with show-stopping performances by the talented Alessandra Pruneda, Daleyza Cruz, Makayla Lucio, and the incredible Hawk Choir, under the direction of Samantha Lopez!
