The Laredo Independent School District is one of the finest institutions in Laredo, Texas. The Student Services department supports all programs that enhance a safe learning environment, promote the psychological and social development of all students, and those that engage parents in the educational partnership of their children.

We recognize that every parent has a dream of seeing their children succeed; therefore, providing a safe and secure learning environment is equally important as preparing students for success in life. We also, encourage students to be well-rounded, independent risk takers, and innovative problem solvers by participating in co-curricular activities.

It is our responsibility to take care of the whole student; therefore, we ask our LISD parents and Laredo community to help us maximize our students' potential and leading them to be committed young citizens in our city.

My name is Maggie Martinez and I am the proud Assistant Superintendent for Student Services in the Laredo Independent School District.
