Mission
The Laredo ISD Secondary Science department is committed to purveying an inquiry rich learning environment to all students. By maintaining a curriculum rooted in both the traditional tenets of science as well as contemporary and convergent research on science and engineering practices, students shall be equipped with the tools necessary for problem solving in the 21st century. Our teachers are provided with quality instructional resources, relevant and applicable professional development, and the latest in software and technology in order to guarantee that students receive instruction that is commensurate with today’s demanding and ever-changing world. Our dedication to students and the advancement of science shall ensure that all students experience the best that this department and Laredo ISD have to offer.
