On behalf of the dedicated and committed men and women of your LISD Police department, I welcome you to our website. I ask you to join me in thanking our dedicated workforce for what they have done in the past and by supporting them now and into our future. They truly deserve this support as they go about the business of protecting and serving our LISD Family.
I consider it an honor and privilege to be Chief of Police for Laredo Independent School District. I am a proud product of this school district and am very happy to be in a position where I can give back. I intend to look into programs that can help educate our students in different areas that are needed.
As your Chief of Police, I am committed to building and maintaining positive relationships throughout our district and our community. I deeply appreciate the support and confidence that has been extended to me by our board of trustees and superintendent. I will empower the officers in our agency to take calculated risks while fostering an environment where officers are encouraged and rewarded. The cooperation of all students, faculty and staff is crucial to maintaining a safe and orderly environment. I encourage you to report any safety concerns, illegal or suspicious activity, or forward any comments and suggestions you have to our department.
