As the semester approaches its final stretch, students across Tigerland are preparing for the upcoming End-of-Course (EOC) and State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) exams. These assessments, which measure student proficiency in core subjects, will begin next week and are a key component of academic accountability.
Classes will resume on Monday, December 1, following the Thanksgiving break, with testing set to begin Tuesday, December 2. Students are encouraged to review class materials, attend review sessions, and get plenty of rest in the days leading up to the exams.
Parents are urged to check the attached testing calendar and ensure that students arrive at school on time and are prepared with necessary materials. Teachers will provide additional support and guidance in the classroom to help students succeed.
