Welcome
Principal's Message
Dear Martin High School Families, As we enter the final stretch of the spring semester, this is a critical time for our students to stay focused and finish strong. The progress we have made so far is something to be proud of, but the work is not done. Now is the time to stay committed, stay motivated, and push through to the end of the school year with purpose. One of the most important factors in student success is simply being at school every day. Instruction begins promptly at 8:30 AM, and every class period counts. When students are present and on time, they are better able to stay engaged, understand new concepts, and build the confidence they need to succeed. Attendance matters — every day truly makes a difference. We also encourage all students to remain focused on earning their credits. Each assignment, project, and exam plays a role in ensuring students stay on track for promotion and graduation. If students need additional support, we encourage them to communicate with their teachers and take advantage of the resources available on campus. As we approach the upcoming testing season, it is critical that students prepare to pass their assessments, including STAAR, SAT, ACT, ASVAB, and other required exams. These tests provide important opportunities for students to demonstrate what they have learned and open doors for college, career, and military pathways. We ask families to help ensure students get proper rest, arrive on time, and come prepared on testing days. Together, we can maintain our momentum and close out the semester with excellence. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let’s stay focused, stay positive, and finish the spring semester strong. Your Proud Principal, Mario Mireles
