Cigarroa High School inducted 10 new members to their Toro Legends during a special ceremony at the CHS Montemayor Gym. The Legends were selected as graduates of Cigarroa, the Pride of South Laredo, because of their accomplishments and roles as productive members of the community.
This year’s Legends are Araceli Arrambide, Class of 1994; Ziomara Cecilia Cisneros, Class of 1999; Reynaldo Garcia Jr., Class of 1989; Juan “Juancgi” Ignacio Gonzalez, Class of 1996; Alfredo Mancillas, Class of 1993; Veronica Garza Mancillas, Class of 1994; Jesus “Papo” Pompa, Class of 1993; Marcos Pompa, Class of 1991; Zabdiel “Zabby” Rincon, Class of 1995; and Silvestre Rodriguez Jr., Class of 1992.
CHS Principal Iznaola congratulated the alumni and expressed his appreciation for their impact on society and how they influence other students to follow their dreams.
