Laredo Independent School District recently entered into an agreement with the Webb County Tax Assessors Collectors Office to consolidate its property tax collection services giving the County authority to collect taxes on behalf of the District. Beginning Thursday, July 16, LISD tax payers will make their LISD property tax payments at the Webb County Assessor-Collector Office located at 1110 Victoria Street inside the Dean Senator Judith Zaffirini Justice Center.

The district-county agreement will improve efficiency, reduce administrative duplication, and provide a unified billing system. It will also consolidate billing where taxpayers receive a single, combined property tax statement instead of getting two separate bills from the county and the school district.
