Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications and Fine Arts (VMT) student Max Torres showcased his extraordinary range of artistic talents this past Friday with a captivating vocal performance at the Laredo Center for the Arts.
Taking the stage during The Quest to Dream: Don Quixote exhibit opening, the VMT High Brass student delivered a powerful rendition of “The Impossible Dream” from the classic musical Man of La Mancha. His performance resonated deeply with attendees, fitting seamlessly into the exhibition's tribute to the iconic literary masterpiece.
A multifaceted performer, Torres is well known across campus not only for his musical and vocal skills, but also for his compelling work as an actor and his familiar presence as a lead news anchor for VMT News. His performance on Friday highlighted the rigorous preparation and versatile training offered through VMT's fine arts and communications programs.
