VMT Honors March Artists of the Month

The Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications and Fine Arts proudly recognizes its March Artists of the Month, celebrating a group of outstanding students who continue to demonstrate excellence across the arts. These honored Gladiators have shown exceptional discipline, creativity, and dedication in Music, Dance, Graphic Design, Art, and Radio/TV/Film, consistently representing VMT with pride and professionalism.

This month’s honorees include Joe Mendez (Radio/TV/Film), Regina Loa (Art), Dankia Gutierrez (Art/Graphic Design), Mia Fe Garcia (Dance), and Abraham Flores (Low Brass). Each student was selected for their commitment to their craft and their ability to consistently produce high-quality work while continuing to grow artistically.

Throughout the month, these students have stood out in their respective programs through strong classroom performance, creative expression, and dedication to improvement. Whether behind the camera, on the canvas, in the rehearsal space, or in the practice room, each artist has contributed meaningfully to the strength and spirit of the VMT fine arts community.

Teachers and directors praise these students for not only their talent, but also their work ethic and consistency. Their ability to balance rigorous coursework with artistic development reflects the high standards upheld within VMT programs and serves as an example for their peers.

The March Artists of the Month continue to embody what it means to be a Gladiator—driven, creative, and committed to excellence. The VMT community celebrates their achievements and looks forward to seeing their continued success in the months ahead. 💙
