The halls of Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications and Fine Arts were transformed into a dynamic gallery space during this year’s Magnified Art Exhibit, drawing parents, educators, students, and community members to celebrate student creativity in all its forms.
The exhibit featured an impressive collection of visual and digital art, including drawings, paintings, photography, videography, and sculpture. Each piece reflected the event’s theme of discovering the extraordinary within the ordinary. Through pencil sketches, camera work, moving images, and three-dimensional designs, students presented fresh perspectives on everyday life and the world around them.
The exhibit was curated and coordinated under the guidance of VMT art instructors C. Visarra, J. Valdez, M. Gonzalez, and A. Santos, whose support and mentorship helped students bring their visions to life.
Teachers and staff praised the event for highlighting both artistic skill and creative expression. Visitors walked the halls as if touring a professional gallery, pausing to admire detailed textures, powerful compositions, and innovative interpretations.
For those who were unable to attend in person—or who want to experience it again—the Magnified Art Show is now available in a virtual gallery. The online collection allows viewers to explore the students’ work at their own pace and share it with friends and family.
