February has arrived, and at Santo Niño Elementary, it is shaping up to be one of the most exciting months of the school year! We are filling the calendar with special events, recognition weeks, and numerous opportunities for our students to showcase their school spirit.
We are thrilled to announce a month-long lineup of festivities where students are encouraged to dress up and join in on the fun!
What’s Happening This Month?
Here is a look at the major events we will be celebrating together:
Counselors Week: We kick off the celebrations by honoring the heart of our emotional support system. It is a time to show appreciation for our amazing school counselors who guide our students toward success every day.
Valentine’s Week: Love and friendship are in the air! Students will have the opportunity to celebrate kindness and camaraderie through fun activities and themes centered on caring for one another.
Washington’s Birthday Celebration Association (WBCA): In true local tradition, we will be participating in the festivities surrounding the Washington’s Birthday Celebration. Get ready to celebrate history, culture, and patriotism!
Celebrate School Week: We are taking time to shout our school pride from the rooftops! This week is dedicated to celebrating the hard work, achievements, and unique community that makes Santo Niño Elementary such a wonderful place to learn.
Get Ready to Dress Up!
We don’t just want students to observe these events; we want them to participate! Throughout the entire month, we will have various dress-up days corresponding to these themes. Whether it’s wearing red for Valentine’s or donning patriotic gear for WBCA, we encourage every student to get creative and show their spirit.
Take a look at our calendar and join in on the fun! 🤩
