LISD is celebrating Texas Public School Week! LISD is opening its 20 elementary and four middle schools for parents and guardians to visit on Wednesday, February 26, from 8:30 a.m., to 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Report cards will be issued at LISD elementary schools.

**🎄✨ A Magical Journey with the Nutcracker! ✨🎄** Our students had an enchanting time exploring the world of the Nutcracker, blending technology and creativity to bring the classic tale to life! 🩰 They used 3-D pens to decorate their own 3D printed Nutcracker🎨✨ Meanwhile, our VR kits transported them right into the heart of the Nutcracker’s fantastical world, allowing them to see the ballet from the stage. 🕺💻 To set the mood, they listened to the timeless Nutcracker story, letting the music and narrative guide their artistic creations. 🎅🏼🤖 The robotics club had a fun Christmas party with a group coloring activity, Christmas Bingo, and a sing-along to holiday songs. There were prizes to be won, and everyone enjoyed a nice meal together. It was a great way to celebrate the season and relax with friends! 🤖🎅🏼
