7th-grade math educators from M.B. Lamar Middle School recently participated in a professional learning field trip to LJ Christen Middle School, engaging in cross-campus classroom observations to exchange best instructional practices and strengthen student learning.

Hosted by the team at "Cubland," the visit offered Lamar teachers a firsthand look at active instructional strategies, allowing them to observe live classroom delivery, reflect on their own teaching methods, and gain insights from the expertise of Christen MS educators.

The collaborative session emphasized the shared commitment across the district to elevate academic achievement through professional dialogue, peer observation, and continuous growth.

"Opportunities like these are a wonderful reminder of the impact that collaboration and shared learning can have on our professional growth and, ultimately, on the students we serve," Mrs. Molina, instructional specialist, noted. "We truly appreciate Cubland's support, hospitality, and professionalism in providing our teachers with this valuable experience."

The successful exchange highlights the ongoing spirit of teamwork and mutual support between Laredo area campuses as educators work together to foster student success.
