It was a flawless week on the gridiron for M.B. Lamar Middle School as both the 7th and 8th grade football teams delivered dominant, shutout performances to showcase the strength of the Lions' athletic program.
The 7th Grade Lions set the tone early in the week, putting together a complete team effort on both sides of the ball to earn a commanding 41–0 victory. Building on that momentum, the 8th Grade Lions followed up with an equally impressive performance, storming past their competition for a 40–0 win.
Led by head coaches Coach Tobias and Coach Dovalina, the student-athletes demonstrated exceptional discipline, execution, and teamwork from opening kickoff to the final whistle. The combined 81 points scored and zero points allowed highlighted the program’s focus on conditioning, defensive toughness, and unity.
"We are so proud of our student-athletes for their hard work, teamwork, and determination," the coaching staff shared. "Their performance this week is a direct result of their dedication in practice and their pride in representing Lamar Middle School."
