Lamar Middle School proudly celebrates sixth grade student Zoey for earning Honorable Mention in the Middle School 2D Division at the 2026 Birds of the Brush Art Contest. Her detailed painting of a Yellow Warbler captured the attention of judges and showcased the artistic talent cultivated at M. B. Lamar Middle School.

The annual Birds of the Brush Art Contest highlights student creativity and technical skill, drawing entries from across the region. Zoey’s recognition in the competitive Middle School 2D Division reflects both her dedication to her craft and her ability to bring nature to life through art.

“Zoey’s achievement is a testament to her creativity, focus, and willingness to challenge herself artistically,” said a campus representative. “We are proud to see her talent recognized beyond our campus.”
