Today was an exciting day for the M. B. Lamar Lions Coding and Robotics Crew, as students put their skills to the test in the campus Code-a-Thon. The event brought together some of Lamar’s most dedicated young coders, who have been practicing, building, and problem-solving for weeks in preparation.
Students showcased creative ideas, strong teamwork, and impressive technical skills as they navigated challenges designed to push their coding abilities. Teachers and staff cheered them on, celebrating the hard work and determination each participant brought to the competition.
“We are proud of every student who stepped up and gave it their all,” said Mrs. Silva, Technology Club Sponsor. “Our Lions have been working nonstop, and seeing their creativity and problem-solving shine today was incredible. They represented Lamar with so much passion.”
At the end of the competition, three outstanding students earned the top spots and will go on to represent M. B. Lamar Middle School at the district-wide Code-a-Thon:
🥇 Gianna
🥈 Rodolfo
🥉 Alberto
The entire campus celebrates their achievement and the dedication shown by all participants. The Lions continue to demonstrate that with hard work, creativity, and teamwork, they can take on any challenge.
Way to go, Lions—keep shining, keep coding, and keep showing everyone what M. B. Lamar can do! 💻🦁✨
