MUSTANG NATION collects over 1000 jars of peanut butter to help local families by participating in the 2024 Peanut Butter Bowl Challenge. The Peanut Butter Bowl is a statewide campaign in collaboration with high school football to help feed the less fortunate. Nixonâs football team, campus organizations, and NHS feeder schools came together for our community as they continue to set the GOLD STANDARD!
Traver Elementary School held a thrilling Accelerated Reader Rally under the Big Top. Administration and staff dressed up as your favorite circus entertainer or animal and put on the greatest show on earth for the students as they prepare to meet their AR goals this school year.

Laredo ISD welcomed its newest educators during the New Teachers Academy on Tuesday morning at the Vidal M. Trevino School of Communications and Fine Arts. The morning began with greetings from Superintendent Dr. Sylvia RĂos. The new teachers are spending the week learning about LISDâs policies, procedures, instructional technology, and much more.

Fine Arts students from the Mustang Team demonstrated their musical talents during the Fine Arts Showcase at the LISD PAC Auditorium. The student sang and danced as their parents, family members, and principals cheered them on.
