Congratulations to Sophia Sandoval for setting two new school records for the Nixon Girls Track & Field Team! Last night Sophia competed at the Laredo ISD Invitational, where she broke her own previous record in the 800 M Run. New record time now sits at 2:14.21. Sophia also broke the 400 M Dash record that was set back in 1993. The new record now is 59.25. Outstanding job Sophia! The Distance Crew stands proud with you and the Green & Gold shines on!
