Our 3rd Graders got a visit from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension - Webb County program. Our students got to build flowerbeds for their Salsa Garden. 🍅 🧅 🌶️ 🌿 Our students had to build, put soil and plant their seeds. We cant wait to see their plants grow.

We started off with learning about plant space and what plants needed to survive. 🌱 The students got their carrot 🥕 and beet seeds ready to plant them next week. Then the students got to taste a cucumber 🥒 and evaluated its taste. They ended the lesson by listening to the story “A Place to Grow.
