Principal's Message
Dear Phoenix Family, As we head into our Easter holiday, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible momentum we have built together here at Hector J. Garcia Early College High School. First and foremost, a huge thank you to our students, staff, and parents for the incredibly smooth completion of the TELPAS exams. Your cooperation and hard work ensured that the testing environment was productive and stress-free. It is a testament to the dedication of our Phoenix community that we can navigate these requirements so effectively. While we are all looking forward to the holiday, we have a busy and exciting season ahead of us when we return on Tuesday, April 7th. Please keep the following milestones on your radar: STAAR Testing: Shortly after our return, several students will be completing their STAAR exams. SAT & AP Exams: Our students are currently gearing up for their SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exams. These are vital steps toward college readiness, and we are confident in their preparation. College Finals: As an Early College High School, our students are also approaching the finish line for their higher education courses. Final exams for college classes will be here before we know it. Commencement: Most importantly, we are officially in the countdown to celebrate our Seniors, who will be graduating at the end of May! Rest and Recharge I encourage everyone to use this break to rest and rejuvenate. We have a "sprint" to the finish line waiting for us in April and May, and I want every student to return feeling energized and ready to succeed.
