TEA has released the 2026 A–F Accountability Ratings, and A.T. Dovalina Elementary earned an A with a PERFECT SCORE of 100 — AND all six Distinction Designations! 🌟🏆
Under the visionary leadership of Principal Mrs. Jamie Vargas and her administrative team, alongside our phenomenal teachers and staff, we set an ambitious goal, believed in our students, and surpassed it!
Our Wildcats earned distinctions in Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Comparative Academic Growth, Postsecondary Readiness, and Comparative Closing the Gaps! ⭐
This achievement belongs to our entire Dovalina family. ❤️💛

Today the Texas Education Agency officially announced that Laredo ISD has earned two A’s. The annual ratings show that LISD earned an A in Academic Accountability with a district score of 90. Overall campus ratings for LISD’s 28 schools include 18 A’s and 10 B’s. No LISD campus earned a C or D. LISD also earned an A in finance through their Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) rating.
