Family Reading Night at Dovalina Elementary. Wildcats have a blast as they “Read, Soar, Explore!” throughout the world as they “Level Up Their Literacy”.
Students and parents were invited to explore many different countries through reading, activities, games, and tasty treats.
They received stamps in their passports as they visited locations such as England, France, Egypt, Mexico, Japan, and Italy.
Wildcats love to explore and learn through games, such as hopscotch, wrap the mummy, and board games. Also, technology creates fun with bee bots, Dash, and 3D pens.
We love sharing a love of reading with our Special guest, Anissa Mendez, Miss Texas Teen USA 2020. We also enjoyed performances from the TAMIU dance team and the Dovalina Show Choir. TAMIU Education students, Victoria & Jimena, joined our Dovalina crew for the night as well.
Thank you to all the families that joined us this evening. The Dovalina Wildcat Teachers and Staff did an incredible job decorating and creating engaging activities for all.
