A message from Mrs. R. Cantero:
In my classroom this month, we moved beyond the textbook. I challenged my students to research, analyze, and recreate diverse ecosystems to understand the "why" behind environmental stability.
The goal: Move from memorization to understanding the systemic importance of biodiversity.
Each student took ownership of a different habitat, presenting their findings on how human impact and natural cycles intersect. The results? Innovative models, passionate presentations, and a room full of students who now view themselves as global citizens.
Collaboration and research in action!
