Mission
The Laredo Independent School District Athletic Department, in alliance with district partners and community stakeholders, will provide leadership in addressing the needs of student athletes in regards academic success and athletic participation. Our obligations and goals will manifest itself in the healthy lifestyles we will instill, the character we will cultivate, and the preparedness we will promote. Our commitment to excellence will inspire current and future generations of Laredo youth.
Vision
The Laredo Independent School District Athletic Department will maintain and enhance its leadership role among our state and national cohorts. Our programs and initiatives will provide a paradigm for academic and athletic success which will allow our students and student-athletes to showcase their talents at the post-secondary level. Inherent in the Athletic Department will be a spirit of innovation that links academic success, healthy lifestyles, leadership development and resilience in our students as they develop their college, career or military readiness. Graduates will be empowered to inspire others in our community.
