Program Mission
The mission of the Laredo ISD Advanced Academics program is to provide equitable opportunities for students to achieve their highest intellectual potential through challenging instructional environments that encourage life-long learning, nurture creative thinking, and foster college and career success through higher education courses to earn post-secondary credits.
In addition, the Advanced Academics department provides professional development for teachers to develop, deliver, and implement innovative quality instruction associated with accelerated learning, academic rigor, and greater depth and complexity to meet the unique academic needs of the advanced students.
