District
Liability for Internet Content
The Internet is a network of many types
of communication and information sources. It is possible that users
may encounter areas of adult content and some material users or
parents might find objectionable. While the District will take
reasonable steps to restrict access to such material, it may not be
possible to absolutely prevent such access. It is the users
responsibility to follow the rules for appropriate use. Parents are
encouraged to have a discussion with their children concerning
access to appropriate materials.

Acceptable Use
Policy (AUP)
Access to Laredo ISD computer resources
is a privilege, not a right. Failure to comply with the guidelines
set out in the AUP may result in suspension of access of termination
of privileges and other disciplinary action consistent with District
policies. Student users should refer to the Student Code of Conduct
for a detailed description of the consequences of improper use of
the computer system.
