Mission:
The Laredo Independent School District Grant Development office is an effort to streamline the Grant Development processes for grant research, analysis, proposals, applications, submission and reporting is dedicated to helping secure funding in order to establish and maintain high standards of educational excellence through its diligence and dedication to all stakeholders.
The Grant Development office contributes to “Best Practices” of district financial and procurement requirements by conducting research on grant opportunities from local, state, and federal resources. All applicable grant opportunities are reviewed to conform to the mission Statement of the district, the district improvement plan, and superintendent’s goals.
