Board Of Trustees
The Laredo Board of Trustees meets in regular session at 6:30 P.M. in the Board Room located at 1620 Houston, on the first Thursday after the tenth of each month. The Board may also meet in specially called meetings as required. Agendas for each meeting are posted at the entrance to the Administration Building. Patrons of the school district are welcome to attend.
We Appreciate Your Input

Popular control of education is a fundamental component of a democratic society. Laredo ISD Trustees and staff members therefore, welcome your involvement and appreciate your input on matters affecting the welfare of students in our public schools.

Individuals who have questions or suggestions should first contact the teacher or administrator at the school campus/department.  Matters which are not resolved at this level may then be brought to the attention of the Superintendent's Office. Prompt, informed answers are generally provided by following this procedure.

Addressing the Board
Current Board practice allows time during the Public Forum for patrons to speak up to three minutes. You must register prior to the meeting by signing your name on a "Public Forum Sign-in-Sheet."
Stewards of the Public Trust

The Board is composed of seven Laredo ISD residents who devote their time, energy and expertise in serving as Laredo ISD's policy-making body as authorized by the legislature. Trustees function according to the state and federal laws, regulations of the State Board of Education and the Texas Commissioner of Education, and will of the people as expressed in the District elections.

It is the policy of the Laredo Independent School District not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, limited English proficiency, or handicapping condition in its programs.
